AstraZeneca Israel was established at the end of 2008 and is based in Kfar Saba, employing over 100 people, specializing in sales, marketing, medical & regulatory affairs. In addition AstraZeneca Israel has a strong presence of scientific research and development with partnerships across the country.
In May 2019 AstraZeneca signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the Israeli innovation authority, committing to invest and support the Israeli healthcare ecosystem. AstraZeneca Israel is proud to be an active part of the AstraZeneca Health Innovation Hubs network alongside the US, China, Sweden, and France

Our Health Innovation Hub
BeyondBio is part of A.Catalyst, the global network of innovation hubs led by AstraZeneca in key locations worldwide A.Catalyst Network of 17 Hubs.
The BeyondBio Health Innovation Hub in Israel is the fulfilment of the MOU (memorandum of understanding) that AstraZeneca signed with the Israeli Innovation authority in May 2019. AstraZeneca has committed to invest in research and digital innovation in Israel and to support the Israeli ecosystem.
As part of this commitment AstraZeneca has already launched two successful initiations and is looking forward to increasing its local presence.
During 2019-20 AstraZeneca Established two strategic partnerships:
- PlayBeyondBio – a start-up collaboration program in partnership with JVP, Yozma Leumit (II2020), Maccabi healthcare, Shaarei Zedek medical center, Microsoft and Cisco.
- ARC partnership with Sheba Medical Center.
